You need additional training in using a grinding wheel or a bench grinder, when sharpening, grinding, or saw setting. We are at your disposal for this training supervised by a professional.
We have at your disposal several types of bench grinders (Back stand, water wheel, bench grinder for hammaguri chisel...) and various tools for sharpening (chisels, knives, woodcarving tools, gardening tools...).
The additional training session is available per half-day during the time you wish.

There are several different modules. The module for Japanese scissors lasts 2 days or 16 hours
The basic training to become a grinder-grinder takes 88 hours. Additional 32 hours of training are necessary for hairdressing and grooming tools. The combination of the two training sessions is therefore 120 hours and is finalized by an exam « Mobile grinder-sharpener »

This is a session designed for everyone. In just one day you can master the sharpening of wood cutting tools: chisels, gouges (angled, bent, back-bent, spoon-shaped), planers, small plane-irons, irons of certain routers, scrapers...
This basic training is carried out on water bench grinders. This is not an industrial sharpening training on machine tools.

Sharpening these objects requires great expertise and know-how on the grindstones. It is therefore recommended to take the smooth blade module and the development module on a bench-grinder beforehand.

In Corporate Social Responsibility, instead of focusing on the simple aspects of standards and qualities, it is better to focus on sustainable development and the human aspect of the company.
Wear, stress and pressure on personnel must be taken into account.
If your employees' cutting, sharpening and/or punching tool is of poor quality, it will not perform well. Also if they do not know how to maintain it or not to maintain it well, they will be detrimentally affected.
The work will be both of poor quality and slower to completion.

If the tool does not cut properly, the work, material yields and productivity will be deficient. Operators will tire unnecessarily, they will not be happy with them and so will you.

Expert advice:
- Use high-performance tools, i.e. those that are really designed for the task at hand (shape, size, weight and ergonomics). These are perhaps more expensive but you should have a long-term vision by counting the savings in terms of material profitability, productivity and quality. From this point of view, you will save money and time. The operators will be grateful for this, it will improve the overall working spirit in the company. Beyond that, you will have a better grasp of turnover.
- Plan periods in the production cycle for the maintenance of their tools because the most important thing is the cutting edge of the tool. Without it, the tool will not cut. The edge wears out and deforms when working, so it must be maintained. If you have to produce 20, plan a rate of 21 or even 22, so that they have time to maintain their tools. With a powerful tool, they will produce more easily and therefore faster. The additional load will be absorbed by the skills of the tool used by the operator!

- Before any hiring, it is important to check the real skills of future employees by filling in their gaps in terms of both knowledge and know-how on the subject.
